A Taobao, 1688 or Weidian link can fail because it is expired, shortened, mobile-only, access-restricted or too complex for automatic parsing. Diagnose the source first, then submit a manual order only when the exact seller, item and variant can be documented.
Research basis: KameyMall’s public buying guidance and public app description naming supported Chinese marketplaces were checked September 10, 2026. Marketplace access and the live manual-order fields can change.
Identify what kind of link failure you have
A blank result, login wall, wrong product, missing options and unavailable listing are different problems. Open the source link separately and confirm it still reaches the intended seller item. Remove tracking parameters only if the base product URL remains clear. A share link from a mobile app may redirect differently on desktop, while a shortened URL can expire or hide the final marketplace destination.
If the source itself is unavailable, KameyMall cannot safely reconstruct the product from a screenshot alone. Search the marketplace for the seller or product ID, or ask the original source for a current canonical link. Do not accept a near match merely because its main image looks similar. A replacement can differ in seller, batch, material, size table, minimum quantity and return conditions.
Extract stable identifiers before trying again
Save the marketplace name, seller name, item or offer ID, canonical product URL and a dated screenshot of the title. On 1688, confirm whether the page has minimum quantities or price tiers. On Taobao or Tmall, capture the exact variant labels. On Weidian, retain the shop and item reference. Identifiers help distinguish a parsing problem from a changed listing.
Try the clean canonical URL in the KameyMall search or order field. Avoid pasting a social-media redirect, affiliate wrapper or link that requires another app to resolve. If the service imports a different item, stop. Compare the parsed title, seller, price, images and variants with the saved source. Automatic import is a convenience, not proof that the destination is correct.
Know when manual ordering is appropriate
KameyMall’s published process has described a manual agent-order route for listings that cannot be captured automatically. Use it only when the product is currently available and the required details can be expressed without guessing. A private seller conversation, disappearing page or image-only post may not provide enough evidence for a purchaser to identify the exact item.
Manual ordering transfers more responsibility to the information you enter. The agent cannot know which size chart, bundle or color you meant unless you supply it. Treat every field as part of a purchase brief: source, title, option, quantity, item price, domestic delivery, seller note and any essential confirmation request. Keep the brief short enough to act on and detailed enough to prevent substitution.
Write a precise manual-order brief
Begin with the canonical link and seller. Copy the exact option wording in the source language where possible, then add a plain explanation. Include color, size, version, quantity and whether the displayed price is per unit, set or tier. For apparel, attach the relevant size-chart row. For electronics, include model, plug, voltage or compatibility only when the listing confirms it.
State one action for ambiguity: for example, ask the seller to confirm that a named option includes two pieces before purchase. Do not ask the purchaser to choose the best version or infer quality. Avoid conflicting notes, unsupported authenticity requests and vague phrases such as “highest quality.” If customization makes the order irreversible, confirm every text, number and layout before payment.
Reconcile price and domestic delivery
A manually entered price is not final merely because it matches a screenshot. Sellers can update variants, quantity tiers and domestic freight. KameyMall’s purchasing agent may report a difference before buying. Compare the changed amount with the live source and decide explicitly whether to continue. Never authorize an unlimited adjustment.
Keep the product-stage cost separate from future international freight. A link failure often encourages shoppers to focus on getting the item into the cart and overlook minimum quantities or bulky packaging. Record what is included, likely package shape and any route-sensitive attribute before paying. If the seller cannot confirm a decision-critical detail, cancelling is safer than converting uncertainty into warehouse inventory.
Use warehouse QC to verify the manual brief
When the item arrives, compare the QC record with the manual order line by line. Check identity, exact visible variant, color, size label, quantity and included pieces. A manually ordered product deserves more careful reconciliation because the platform parser did not create a structured option record automatically. Save the brief beside the warehouse photographs.
If a mismatch is visible, cite the source evidence and the exact field that differs. If the photograph does not show an essential detail, request a targeted view while the current return opportunity is open. Do not confuse an unseen feature with a confirmed feature. The manual-order route solves a technical import problem; it does not remove seller or product uncertainty.
Handle marketplace-specific edge cases
A 1688 offer may show tiered unit prices, minimum quantities or several specifications under one page. Confirm the quantity that activates the displayed price and whether domestic freight changes with the order. Taobao or Tmall options may use promotional labels that do not translate cleanly; keep the original option text and image. Weidian pages can be tied closely to a shop and item ID, so preserve both when creating the brief.
Some pages require login, region access or a mobile app to show complete data. Do not bypass access controls or ask an agent to buy from a screenshot that omits terms. If a seller provides a private quote, retain the verified conversation in the order record without publishing personal details. When a product is out of stock, request confirmation before accepting a substitute link; a different seller page is a new decision, not a repaired version of the old one.
Watch for option-dependent URLs. Some marketplace links open the general product while the chosen color or specification exists only in app state. In that case, the canonical URL is necessary but not sufficient. Add the exact option text, screenshot and price to the manual brief, then confirm the KameyMall order shows the same choice. A clean URL should never erase a material selection.
A five-minute link recovery sequence
Open the source, obtain the canonical URL, record seller and item ID, remove redirect wrappers, retry import, then compare the parsed result. If it still fails, decide whether the listing contains enough stable information for a manual brief. If not, search for the exact seller item or stop. Do not publish or share private seller messages as proof.
After submission, confirm the KameyMall order record reflects the brief and retain any purchaser question or price adjustment. The goal is not to force every link through the system. It is to preserve product identity from source page to warehouse so a broken parser does not become a wrong order.
- Verify the source listing still exists.
- Capture marketplace, seller, item ID and canonical URL.
- Compare every imported field before paying.
- Use manual ordering only with complete, stable details.
- Set a clear response for price or option changes.
- Match warehouse QC against the original brief.

Preserve identity instead of forcing the import
A working product order needs a live source, stable identifiers and an exact variant. Clean the URL and compare the import first; use a manual brief only when every material field can be documented. Then treat warehouse QC as the final check that the manual instructions survived the purchase.
